At CES 2015, ODG demonstrated a consumer prototype that showcased potential consumer use cases for it's Smart Glasses, including movie viewing, navigation and web browsing. The consumer prototype featured stunning ultra-transparent 3D stereoscopic displays and was packed with innovative technologies in a dramatically smaller, lighter and sleeker design. Although we hope to ultimately deliver a consumer device, the consumer market is not yet matured and we are currently focused on Smart Glasses for Enterprise markets, where analysts predict robust sales over the coming years. What we learn as we build for Enterprise markets will help us to one day deliver a game changing mobile device that will capture the heart and mind of the consumer.
During the show, ODG demonstrated a prototype of the new platform which showcased potential consumer uses. The prototype weighed under 125 grams and featured the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 805 processor and Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.® Vuforia SDK for Digital Eyewear™. While our team continues to refine the consumer experience, we will be launching our R-7 system to Enterprise customers in Q3 2015.
